Last week, a rival crossed the border. One timed move decided whether the tile stayed cyan or filled with purple pressure.
But fighting every neighbor creates too many fronts.
A Local Alliance turns one dangerous border into a neutral territory.

Find a Mebot on your border and open the contact. Instead of starting another skirmish, send Alliance proposal.
The other player sees the request and chooses: accept or decline.
If they accept, the border becomes a formation point. Individual ownership stays cyan or purple, while the connected alliance network lights up in lime.
Fewer hostile borders, fewer directions to watch, and more room to choose where the next fight happens.
If Mebot A allies with B, and B allies with C, all three become one Alliance Network. One agreement becomes a chain. One chain can stabilize an entire local front.
Disconnected territory does not magically join the network. Those holdings remain remote outposts until the alliance reaches them. Geography still matters.

Yesterday's rival can become today's ally.
